Jan has began working at Prairie Depot since 2019. She grew up around Gibsonburg and has lived outside Wayne for most of her adult life. She is here to take your phone calls, relay your messages, and accept payments for your insurance premiums.
Tammy Churchill
Agent/Owner
Tammy grew up on a farm outside Wayne and Risingsun and graduated from Elmwood H.S. and Terra Community College with a degree in Business Management. She obtained her insurance license in 1996. She began her own agency and after a few years merged her agency with her dad's, (Robert) Carpenter Insurance Agency which eventually they re-named Prairie Depot. In 2007 they purchased Essman Insurance Agency and merged it all into Prairie Depot Insurance Agency.
Tammy has been married to her husband, Mark since 1987 and has 2 sons and a grandson.
She attends Fremont Alliance Church where she serves on the Deacon Board and is the Alliance Women District Treasurer. She volunteers year-round as the Logistics Coordinator for NW OH with Operation Christmas Child (a project of Samaritan's Purse) which delivers tangible gifts in over 130 countries to children in need along with the gospel of Jesus Christ. She has also enjoyed serving in the past on the board for Living Hope Ministries, Haiti as well as taking several mission trips to various places of need. Since her dad's passing in May 2021 she is honoring him by co-chairing her dad's mission "In His Service" which provides donated goods and services to many missions, including "Living Waters" in Kentucky, "Hands Full of Purpose", Kentucky, and others.
